Working and repairable equipment is assessed before anything is recycled. When a device still has useful life, it can go to refurbishment, donation or parts recovery. Only equipment with no reuse value moves on to material recovery, so far less ends up in landfill.

Do you handle medical equipment disposal as well as recycling?
Yes. Medical equipment disposal and medical device disposal are the starting point, recycling is what happens next. Every collection is assessed for reuse, then dismantled for parts and material recovery, and you receive a recycling certificate. Healthcare e-waste such as workstations, LIMS and PACS servers and monitors can be collected in the same booking with certified data destruction.
What do you not accept?
We collect equipment, not waste streams. We do not accept hospital beds, bed frames and mattresses, X-ray film and film archives, clinical and biohazard waste, sharps, chemicals, solvents, reagents and fixatives, samples and biological material, pharmaceuticals, pressurised gas cylinders and liquid nitrogen, or contaminated consumables. Loose radioactive sources are not accepted on their own, and equipment with a sealed source still fitted is assessed case by case. Everything else is welcome, including single personal or home devices such as CPAP machines, nebulisers, blood pressure monitors and mobility equipment.
